Topic: Finding forms

Stuart,

got to admit, I've somewhat bewildered (and probably missing the obvious) after searching through the Textpattern admin pages for an hour. Newbie alert.

The Coffeebreak default installation displays a number of things that I cannot find in the sections/pages/forms area. For example, the 'cb_frontpage' calls a form called 'cb_header' which probably includes the top link area (Home / Services / Blog) which I'd like to edit -- but I can't for the life of me find it.

Likewise, the bottom area has a contact us and company area which is supposed to have its own widget form, but I'm at a loss where to find those. The 'cb_sidebar' form is there (along with twitter), but damned if I can find where it is. You get the idea smile

Am I missing any particular section of the installation?

(Btw, the default slider came up empty, but I figured that one out -- given that there's a default slider image in the theme's directories I'm wondering if something went wrong).

Re: Finding forms

Gah. Nevermind, seems others ha d the same problem and it's already resolved in this forum. See Forms -> Misc.

My admin theme prevented me from seeing/opening entries below the closed 'misc' heading. Reverting to the default theme helped.

Re: Finding forms

Ah yes. As I was reading through your first post I was thinking to myself that maybe you hadn't spotted the "drop-downs" in the sidebars. If you want to look at a couple of themes that won't give you that problem take a look at Hive or Vitraux.

Don't hesitate to come back if you have any other problems. Noob or non-noob we are well used to them.  wink
