Topic: Updating tbs_theme_variables / widgets

Hi
I have noticed that when I update either theme_variables or widgets and click 'update' this does not update the site, and I need to go into 'forms' and click 'save'  on the tbs_theme_variables / widgets form(s) to update the site.
Is this usual, or is something else causing this? Eric

It won't update your browser's view of your site immediately because your browser still has the old value in it's memory. You would need to refresh the browser as well.

Thanks for reply. I had refreshed the browser quite a few times, but it still wouldn't update.
It's not a great problem, because now I know it is quite easy to go and save the form. Just wondered whether anyone had come across this before.

No. That is a first on me.

I presume when you have changed a variable then got to the form template, the value has changed there as well?

Yes, first I change the variable in usual way. This does update the value in the form template, but not on the website.
To update website I have to save the form. Maybe it will clear itself one day. I'll let you know.

Do you have any "special" permissions set up in admin?
